CO-DIRECTED BY THE GOLDEN GOOSE
A poem that frames the season of fall as a metaphor for human evolution and reinvention
SCENE 1 Primordial Waters
Fear not, children of the seasons
As nature falls from the heights
And tumbles to the earth
Just as it’s done, since the primordial waters
Life emerges, even as it fades

SCENE 2 Early Earth
Guess not, you children of the seasons
As nature mournfully prepares to sleep
And sleep it has
Be assured that the sleep of today,
is not as fiery as the sleep that came before

SCENE 3 Universe’s Groove
Search not, my children of the  seasons
When you wake, you’ll learn to find the groove
the universe has placed in your path
We are not leaves in the wind
In time, we all find, the answers that we need

SCENE 4 Singularity
Rest not, you lovely, woken children
As the world falls to sleep around you,
so a new beginning grows
and grows
and GROWs

SCENE 5 Fall
Fear not, children of the seasons
As it all falls from the heights
Life emerges, even as it fades
